Driven by a high-pressure pump, water molecules are forced through a polyamide composite RO membrane; dissolved salts, sediment, rust, colloidal matter, bacteria, viruses, heavy metal ions, residual chlorine, and organic compounds are rejected by the membrane elements and discharged via the concentrate line, while the permeate passing through the membrane becomes the purified product water.
The 1000 LPH RO system manufactured by Qingzhou Foren Water Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd. utilizes a single 8040 RO membrane element. The equipment frame and pretreatment system are constructed from stainless steel, ensuring superior durability and corrosion resistance. A complete 1000 LPH RO system generally consists of three sections: the pretreatment system, the reverse osmosis system, and the post-treatment system.
Customers purchasing RO equipment from us have the option to source the raw water tank locally to save on shipping costs; however, if a local purchase is not feasible, we can supply a suitable tank according to the customer's requirements.
The 1000 LPH RO system produced by Foren is a compact unit. Its frame integrates pretreatment components-such as the raw water pump, quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, water softener, antiscalant dosing unit, and precision filter-alongside the core RO treatment unit, which comprises the high-pressure pump, membrane housing, 8040 RO membrane, monitoring instruments, control valves, and the electrical control system. Equipment for the post-treatment stage is selected based on specific customer requirements and is not included within the main equipment frame.


The standard production capacity of the 1000 LPH RO system is 1 ton water per hour, with a water recovery rate of approximately 50%. The conductivity of the product water remains stable within the 5–15 μS/cm range; higher quality feed water results in higher purity product water. This equipment is suitable for use with municipal tap water, well water, and similar sources. It requires an inlet pressure of 0.15–0.3 MPa, inlet turbidity of less than 5 NTU, and residual chlorine levels below 0.1 mg/L; the applicable ambient temperature range is 5–40°C. Under standard operating conditions, the membrane elements offer a stable service life of 2–3 years, while the stainless steel unit itself can last 8–10 years with proper maintenance.
